- See the National Mall and take a walk in Georgetown.
- Eat & Drink:
Some of the best Burgers in town! The place works like Shake Shack in terms of service… but the Burgers…. I can tell you like many people I will remember Obama for his presidency, but also for this unforgetable “Prez Obama Burger” I ate there! // 303 Pennsylvania Avenue – SE Washington DC 20003
Plan your walk in Georgetown but don’t forget the afternoon tea. Head to Baked & Wired, spend half an hour to choose a cupcake and treat yourself near Washington docks. My “Unporked Elvis”, a banana cake with peanut butter frosting was seriously good… // 1052 Thomas Jefferson Street – NW Washington DC 20007
If you decide to go there, here is my advice: be patient and be hungry (which sometimes comes with you being patient I know). The place can be really crowded and you can only add your name on a list and… wait. But once you’re in there, you’re definitively in for a treat. Portions are insane and taste is incredible so make sure you make a deal with your friends to share a bit of everything! Farmers breads are incredible, dog rolls as well and I never saw fried chicken quite like this. Life without this place would be a mistake so don’t miss it. // 1924 Pennsylvania Avenue – NW Washington DC 20006
